My name is Skylar and I'm a New York based actor with a passion for bringing classical texts and stories to the modern stage; and a love for any kind of art focusing on the voices of women, the LGBT community, people of color, and all under heard voices. I'm a 2024 graduate of Wayne State University's BFA Acting program.

 

I started taking piano lessons in early elementary school, so music has always been a huge part of my life. Whether it's me playing something, or throwing something on the speaker, my place is always filled with music! I'm also an avid reader with a soft spot for Jane Austen and anything horror. Did you know there's a Pride and Prejudice retelling with zombies? Highly recommend! My favorite way to spend an evening is curled up on the bed with a good book, a cup of tea, and my cats, Coraline and Scout.​
